Modern Family Halloween Episode!

This hilarious episode of Modern Family entails Mitchell getting stuck in a bathroom at his new law firm as her foolishly dressed up for work when no else did, Jay bothers Gloria about her Colombian accent, and Claire goes nearly insane to put together the best Halloween ever; she stages the entire house in ghoulish decor.  The episode was filled with laughs and my favorite line who have to be when Cameron says, "Yesterday's lazy makes up for today's crazy".  Overall, this was one of the funniest episodes of this season! Keep watching and sorry I missed last week's episode! Tune in next week.

A Relatively Funny Fourth Episode!

Alex, being a nerd, struggles to find popularity and seeks her older, popular sister for help.  Claire tells the Cameron, a heavy set man, to lose the bicycle shorts that he often wears, which in effect causes him to hysterically cry.  Claire only promised to tell Cameron that he looked awfully in bicycle shorts if Mitchell promised to tell Phil, Claire's husband, he isn't funny.  Gloria attends a Colombian wedding where Jay promises to familiarize himself with other Colombian people and somewhat assimilate himself into her culture.  Unfortunately, Jay only interrupts the bride and groom's first dance, embarrassing himself and his wife.  Cameron finds out of Mitchell's deal with Claire and becomes hysterical yet again and insults Mitchell about his beard.  Mitchell attempts to shave his beard, but Cameron stops him.  The two make up at the end of the episode.  Alex begins to reach her popular status, but she makes a fool of herself on the phone with her friend.  At least, she decides to stop posturing herself.

Episode Three: Full of that same comedy we all love

Unfortunately, due to lack of time this post will be rather short and less descriptive than the previous posts. In short, an earthquake strikes, fortunately with little little damage, though.  This episodes highlights comedy in disaster.    Claire is trapped in bathroom with a plumber, while her daughter and her scream at one another about Claire being a "control freak".  Gloria is annoyed with Jay because he constantly makes excuses for skipping church.  Right as she is lecturing him an earthquake strikes-a sign from God if you will.  Thus, Manny and Jay decide to play golf, which infuriates Gloria even more so.  Jay makes several statements- there is no Hell and the sinners are in heaven- during their golf outing that deter Manny from his religious beliefs, causing Manny much anxiety.  Mitchell and Cameron have negligible damage from the earthquake; however, their unwanted friend and Cameron's ex-boyfriend, Pepper, (Nathan Lane, "The Birdcage") arrives, despite the insistence that he does not.  Claire and the plumber finally get out of the closet without any help of Phil who was busy nailing a cabinet he was supposed to do to prevent it from falling in the advent of an earthquake at Claire's request.

Favorite Line of Episode: "There's nothing mystical about an earthquake.  Pressure builds and it is released.  You just hoped that there's not too much damage.  But it makes you realize what matters, and for me, that is my family...my family and golf."-Jay at the end of the episode
